Reservoir Range Wines open in Myponga
Declan and Kylie Rowan have launched their label Reservoir Range to make wine accessible to everyone, not just wine connoisseurs.
The couple say many people are put off drinking wine because they are confused about varieties and the language used to describe wines.
‘’Sometimes it comes down to people being scared about where to start with wine,’’ Mrs Rowan says.
‘’You need to know about varieties and vintages and we thought ‘why not make the choice easier for people’.’’
Mr Rowan said “the inspiration for the name Reservoir Range came from our proximity to the Myponga Reservoir and that part of the range of hills on our vineyard property is in the catchment area for the reservoir.”
The new cellar door is in the main street of Myponga and is open every day from 10am till 4pm.
