BankSA Regional Manager Kevin Sorrell said the bank was delighted to support an event which encourages families to celebrate the area's unique environment and precious sea life.

"The BankSA Marquee travels the state providing a free facility for community and charity events. Once again it will provide a great venue for the Whale Time Playtime Festival acting as a hub of free children's fun including Kindergym, educational craft activities and healthy food,” he said.

City of Victor Harbor mayor Mary-Lou Corcoran is very pleased to have the support of BankSA once again.

“It’s great to have BankSA on board, supporting a free family event,” she said.

As the Whale Time Playtime Festival looms closer, the official brochures are now being distributed around South Australia, western Victoria and western Melbourne, through childcare centres and kindegartens by volunteers.

The festival on July 4 and 5 coincides with the South Australian and Victorian school holidays and aims to bring in families from the local area, around SA and interstate.
