VICTOR HARBOR - Ross Robertson Memorial Care Centre residents are being treated to upgrades to the site, with works starting last month.
Over the next six months, the older wings of the care centre will be upgraded, including re-allocating certain spaces for different purposes, and small refurbishments will be made to the newer areas which were renovated in 2005.
The building works are being managed by South Coast Constructions.
Residents who reside in the areas scheduled for refurbishment will be relocated for a short period of time to another part of the care centre.
Work will be completed in stages in order to minimise disruption to residents and the needs of the residents will influence how these stages progress.
Initial works will be undertaken in the front reception area.
ECH, the company that manages Ross Robertson Memorial Care Centre, wishes to inform the community that changes to normal routines are imminent and request that visitors speak to care centre staff prior to visiting over the next six months.
ECH has informed residents and their families of the impending works.
Anyone with questions or concerns about the refurbishment is encouraged to contact Ross Robertson Memorial Care Centre on 8551 0600 or speak to one of its staff on your next visit.
