VICTOR HARBOR – Senior students can now enjoy state of the art facilities at the Victor Harbor Campus of Investigator College, with college staff officially opening the stage three senior wing on September 2.
College Board Chairperson Mr Geoff Penhall and Principal Mr Don Grimmett unveiled the plaque, which will commemorate the opening.
“Investigator is passionate about creating an engaging learning environment,” said Mr Grimmett.
“We will be establishing video conferencing, so senior students at either campus can access classes and education wherever they are.”
The new facilities include a computer suite, four general teaching areas, administration offices and amenities.
Plans for an additional building at the Victor Harbor site are underway, as existing buildings are expected to be at capacity next year.
“We will be looking at constructing the next building to accommodate further projected growth,” said Mr. Grimmett.
Currently, Investigator College has 730 students attending the school, despite having budgeted for 700, which according to Mr Penhall, is encouraging for the college.
“We have received extremely positive support from the community to get here,” he said.
