MOUNT COMPASS: Everything went just right, With the Doggies winning in a cracker of a game against the high profiled Willunga side to set the mood and atmosphere for the annual Bulldog Ball.
Netballers, footballers, spectators and friends partied together, celebrated and danced the night away to the music of Care Factor.
The Mount Compass Hall was beautifully decorated in black and green and with the new reverse cycle air conditioning system in operation nobody had a worry of being chilly.
It was the perfect venue to hold approximately 200 people that gathered for this social event.
The gorgeous dresses, smart suits and colorful varied masks were a site to behold.
The night began with a delicious three course meal. This was followed by a well deserved presentation of flowers to Taryn Burdett for her fantastic effort in organizing this great event.
Right from printing the tickets, selling the tickets, organizing the caterers and band to decorating the hall and cleaning up, Taryn had worked tirelessly to make the night perfect.
Robert Brokenshire then broke out in voice, he had a little left in him after his high performance barracking at the football, to auction off some fantastic items kindly donated by a variety of businesses.
Heather Williams, photographer, was on hand to capture groups and individuals in their exquisite attire from which she offered to donate a percentage from photo sales back to the clubs.
The overall success of this combined netball and football club fundraiser was excellent and definitely something that everyone will look forward to again next year.
