Parsons Beach: Has been relatively quiet in the past few months for salmon action, but several reports this week suggest that both ends of the beach is producing good size fish.

Rapid Bay Jetty: "Old Faithful" is still producing feeds of tommies a few gar midway down the jetty and squid are arriving late in the high tides, giving the regular anglers variety.

Encounter Lakes: A reported sighting of huge cuttle fish in the system. But, it could not be enticed to take a lure or bait jag. A few mullet are being caught around Bartel Blvd. area.

Basham Beach: Salmon trout and salmon are being caught from the eastern end of the beach near the rocks. Lures and bait have both been successful.

Watson Gap: Reports of runs of mulloway by beach casters, but the fish are being lost when they break off the tackle over the reef. Also cockles is the bait to use to catch a feed of mullet from here at present.

Boating

The Pages: Reports of nanagia and large sweep, also a few salmon are taking lures.

Wirrina: Whiting have been hard to find but gar, red mullet and squid have been consistent catches.

Dry Reef: Dodging cray pot buoys a feed of tommies and gar can be caught. Kent Reserve end seems to be the best area this week.
