VICTOR HARBOR - The four suspects arrested in April over an alleged plan to break into an elderly woman's home in Victor Harbor will face the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Middleton man Hugh Frank Allen, 64; Mile End man Saverio Francesco Catanzariti, 45; Leah Rose Tilley of Blackwood, 55; and Pande Baltoski of Elizabeth, 38, were all charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass over April 21 and 22.

The suspects will appear via video link for a preliminary examination today.

A special investigations unit within SAPOL foiled the plans of the quartet, who allegedly arranged to break into the Victor Harbor home to steal cash and jewellery.

While police have not released the name of the street in Victor Harbor where the home was that was allegedly targeted by the suspects, police said the SAPOL unit was investigating the group for a few days prior to the arrests.

At the time of the arrests, Detective Superintendent Des Bray from Drug Investigation Branch said: "Police are extremely pleased they were able to prevent this incident from occurring".
