Mr Marshall visited the Pirie Plaza shopping centre, the Risdon Hotel and the Nyrstar Port Pirie Tennis International with Liberal candidate for Frome Kendall Jackson.

Earlier on Saturday, he visited the Bangor bushfire-affected region.

The Bangor bushfire devastated the Southern Flinders Ranges region, burning 33,600 hectares of land and destroying six homes and 10 to 12 outbuildings.

Hundreds of CFS volunteers across South Australia worked to fight the fires, which burned for 31 days.

“The dedication of our CFS volunteers saved countless lives, homes and properties, not only  with the Bangor bushfires, but also fighting numerous other bushfires across South Australia in recent months,” Mr Marshall said.
