Influenza A has come to the Fleurieu

REGION - Influenza A has come to the Fleurieu as doctors look wearily into the future.

Victor Medical Centre has received a high number of Influenza A cases, amid a worse season for coughs, colds and flus, chief executive officer Stephen Rufus said.

"(Respiratory viruses) have spread across everyone - kids, elderly, middle-aged, all people," he said.

He recommended everyone practice good hand hygiene and cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze.
