STRATHALBYN – A man blew 0.264 in an alcohol test when he was stopped by police at Strathalbyn on Sunday morning.

The 54-year-old, of no fixed address, was pulled over on Parker Avenue at 10.35am on September 18, and he returned a test reading of more than five times the legal limit.

He was also driving while disqualified and breaching his bail conditions, and when he was arrested bail was refused.

He lost his licence immediately for 12 months and his car was impounded.
