STRATHALBYN – A Strathalbyn man has been charged with a number of offences after he hit a member of the public while riding a mini-bike.

The 38-year-old allegedly drove a mini-bike at the victim on Murray Street, Strathalbyn and knocked him to the ground about 12pm on Friday, October 7.

The suspect left the scene and the victim sustained minor injuries.

Police arrested the man on Thursday, October 13, and he was charged with driving in a dangerous manner, failing to exchange details, and driving while disqualified, unregistered, and uninsured.

He was bailed to appear at Mount Barker Magistrates Court on November 23.
