Woman dies after falling off ‘inflatable water accessory’ at Aldinga Beach

ALDINGA BEACH – An Aldinga woman has drowned after falling from an inflatable swimming accessory while on the water at Aldinga Beach on Thursday, February 9.

Emergency services were called to the beach adjacent to the Lower Esplanade about 6.40pm after the 28-year-old was pulled from the water, unconscious.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, she could not be revived.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner, and ask anyone who witnessed the incident and has not spoken to police to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
