Car, Cockle Train collide near Goolwa

GOOLWA – The Cockle Train was brought to a halt on Wednesday afternoon, February 15, when it collided with a car near the Goolwa Waste and Recycling Depot. 

Emergency services were called to the scene of the low speed impact incident on Houlden Road just after 2pm.

The collision spun the car around.

Five Country Fire Service appliances attended the heavy rescue.

A female, the sole occupant of the car, was treated at the scene but did not need to go to hospital.
