RUNNING POWER: It is run from Tiger players like Bradley Fitzgerald that is causing opposition clubs concern as Yankalilla play a scintillating style of footbal and are well positioned in the five.

Another round with a difference in the Great Southern Football League, as a game is adjourned early due to injury at Willunga and the Demons get the points and the Mudlarks squander a 30 point quarter time lead to be over run and lose by 41 points.

Langhorne Creek showed great resolve to claw back into the game and produce the 71 point turn around at Mudlark Park. Mount Compass can claim themselves unlucky, as the game against Willunga was a cracker until the unfortunate injury to Bulldog Callum Howe. In the other games Strathalbyn turned a one goal deficit into a 28 point victory, Yankalilla stitched up Encounter Bay at quarter time and held a buffer for the rest of day and Victor Harbor made a big statement by belting Goolwa/Port Elliot to the tune of 91 points. No one saw that coming.

Round seven will have Victor Harbor hosting the undefeated Willunga side and the Roos will need to show some consistency if they are to match the Demons.

Alleway is a force for Victor Harbor and Wade, Hewett, Ross, Sam Basham and Weetra are offering superb support. McDonald may be needed to curb Alleway  and the run of Burdett, Beath, Boyd, Brown and Paterson will test the Roos.

Kiss Of Death – Willunga by 17 points.

Strathalbyn welcome Encounter Bay. Simounds, Caesarowicz, Maloney and Tucker are playing well for the Roosters. For the Bays Davis-Neale brings his own ball and Will Hooper always defends with plenty of heart and discipline.

Kiss Of Death – Strathalbyn by 7 points.

McLaren have the opportunity to make the most of a Magpie side that is hit a hurdle. Rigney is a deadly kick and only needs six kicks to cause damage and Gill always finds lots of the ball. Reid, Cuthbert, Slattery and McKinlay will not lie down for the Magpies.

Kiss Of Death – Goolwa/Port Elliot by 2 points.

Mount Compass play Myponga/Sellicks and the Dogs are a side looking like a premiership contender. Tom Corbett is back and he takes the mid-field pressure off Daniel. The Mudlarks need to put a clamp on both these match winners. Duldig is a key for Myponga/Sellicks and Wade Hutchinson, Ogilvie and Clarke will do anything for the green and golds.

Kiss Of Death – Mount Compass by 48 points.

Yankalilla meet Langhorne Creek and it will be the battle of the mid-fields. Hawks, Lally, Perrey, Tonkin, Howell and Kellock against Kane, Barras, Sidebottom and Kay. What a game.

Kiss Of Death – Yankalilla by 13 points.
