Cannabis growing rooms found at Sellicks Beach house, Aldinga business

SELLICKS BEACH – South Coast police have arrested a man after cannabis was found growing at Aldinga and Sellicks Beach.

Searches were conducted at an Aldinga business and Sellicks Beach house on Monday, July 3.

Allegedly found at both premises were cannabis growing rooms with eight cannabis plants each, along with a large amount of hydroponic equipment.

Electricity to both sites was switched off, as further investigations found power was being diverted.

Police charged the 42-year-old Sellicks Beach man with cultivating cannabis, possessing equipment, and diversion of electricity, and was bailed to appear at Christies Beach Magistrates Court on August 23.
