Calvary Community Care is still on the Fleurieu with its new base at St Joan of Arc Church, 32 Seaview Road, Victor Harbor.

Office staff are there every Thursday and partnership co-ordinator Michelle Dugmore said Calvary Community Care is maintaining a presence on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

“We do in-home care for people living with disabilities and aged care. It is all about caring for people in their own home and we are continuing to do that on the Fleurieu Peninsula,” Michelle said.

Quadriplegic Sid James has been a benefactor of Calvary Community Care for more than 15 years.

“I would be totally lost without Calvary Community Care and their support workers,” Sid said.

“They enable me to live as normal a life as possible.”

Calvary Community Care is supporting Sid’s quest to compete in the Hawaiian Ironman in October by donating funds.
