VICTOR HARBOR – A rumour that Oceanic Victor’s tuna had died has been dispelled by director Mike Dyer.

Comments on social media and over the phone claimed the fish died after an influx of fresh water, and a boat was towing the facility away, but Mr Dyer said it was untrue.

“We haven't lost a single fish, and don’t read Facebook – that’s all I’ve got to say,” he told The Times.

“We’re doing a routine net cleaning with PIRSA (Department of Primary Industries and Regions South Australia).”

It is believed the tender boat is rotating the attraction slightly as part of the clean.
