GOOLWA – The lawns of Signal Point will come alive again over spring and summer, as At the Wharf returns for another season.

Local food and wine, music, and friendship combine to make up At the Wharf, which is a series of free events run by Cittaslow Goolwa.

The community is invited to bring their picnic blankets, dancing shoes, and a warm jacket to enjoy the atmosphere and company At the Wharf brings.

Cittaslow Goolwa members Ken and Debbie Smith and Karen Ross said the Food and Wine Group is building on the success of the events held over the last two summers to run seven evenings of fun this time around.

“It’s an opportunity for people to unwind after the working week… a chance to get together and relax together, celebrating the local talent, food and wine,” Karen said.

The opening event for this season will be held on Sunday, October 1 from 2pm to 5pm, with the Al Martino Project performing during the event. Six other events will be hosted from 5pm to 8pm on the last Friday of each month, starting October 27.
