VICTOR HARBOR – More than 50 participants, volunteers, workers, supporters and family members of the Ocean Encounter program at Encounter Centre participated in a fun day, which raised $1630 to help a local family struggling with leukaemia.

There were footy quizzes, competitions, raffles and an auction of a 2017 signed Crows football. Rob and Ben Heaslip from South Coast Realty supported the event. Ben plays for South Adelaide and helped run competitions. Jeremy Bell from Star Club provided equipment for activities. Funds will help support the granddaughter of one of the local volunteers. She is 2 ½ years old and been diagnosed with Leukemia. Her mother has ceased working to provide full time care. To donate contact Carol Philp on 0467 700 556.
