Cricket is not just a boy's game with come and try days organised in the Great Southern area for girls at Goolwa, Yankalilla and Port Elliot.

The Goolwa, Port Elliot and Yankallila Cricket Clubs are part of the Australia wide ‘Growing Cricket for Girls Program’ starting 2017-18 and supported by Cricket Australia, the South Australian Cricket Association and the Adelaide Strikers Girls Cricket Team ( http://www.adelaidestrikers.com.au/girls-cricket).

Come and try sessions will be at Goolwa on Sundays from 10.30am to 12noon,  Port Elliot: Sundays 1pm to 2.30pm, Yankallia: Sundays 10.30am to 12noon, but contact the clubs to confirm. The first infoprmation and come and try is on Sunday, October 15.

On October 22, 29 and November 5 there will be further come and try sessions and on November 12 there will be a carnival between Goolwa, Port Elliot and Yank teams at Port Elliot. The program runs until December 10 and includes further carnivals at Goolwa and Yankalilla.
