The conversation group of U3A ‘French for Fun’ class turned the tables on their teacher, Jo van Dalen, last month by presenting a Pantomime Cendrillon – Cinderella in French and they had a lot of fun.

Cinderella was Sue Gelade and her Prince Charming David Marcroft, her not so ugly sisters were Jill Davy and Esther Ruberl. She had two Fairy Godmothers Carole Brooks and Margaret Jones. The coachman was Peter Hutchinson. Lynette Beard and Margaret Dearing were the stage hands and Dion Norton the narrator.

University of the Third Age South Coast serves Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Middleton, Goolwa and south coast communities and is celebrating its 30th year.
