A fun filled, unique 'happy event' is coming to the Victor Central Shopping Centre this festive season as local community radio station 90.1 Happy FM  join forces with the centre to provide happy times for both locals and tourists to the region.

A ‘Happy Shop’ will be set up as a venue where visitors to the shopping complex can relax and take time out from their Christmas shopping and put a smile on their face.

Kenny (the Happiness Man) Burgess, Station Manager at Happy FM is the inspiration behind  the 'happy promotion', which he claims will spread happiness and laughter to both children and adults as they participate in some zany 'happy' promotional events.

Heaps of great giveaways, an area for happy dancing, an opportunity to have a video recording, children's play areas  and regular live crosses on air will be just a few of the crazy antics planned to take place in this 'happy' shop.

“Everybody wants to be happy and we can show them how easy it is to achieve this simple goal in life.

“We at Happy FM, want to spread a little joy and happiness to locals and holidaymakers, as we give away some great prizes that will put a smile on many faces,” Ken said.

The Happy Shop will be located at the Shop 20 site and will be open from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday, December 13 and then various times on the Thursday and Friday of that week followed by Wednesday to Saturday the following week in the lead up to Christmas.
