The Victor Harbor Harness Racing Club is ready for its racing season with three great meetings on the horizon.

The first one will be held on Wednesday, December 27 and it will be a twilight meeting starting at approximately 3pm.

The highlight of the meeting will be the running of the Claimers Cup, which is run over two heats.

The final will be held on January 1 and the race will be worth $10,000.

President of the Victor Harbor Harness Racing Club Lynton Bishop is excited at the coming season at Morgan Park.

“We have three great race meetings, one on December 27 and the other two on January 1 and April 1,” Lynton said.

“The $10,000 final will be the highlight and of course we will host the Pacing Cup, the Guineas and the Trotters Cup. There will be plenty of activities for children and the course will have full TAB facilities, bookmakers and refreshments available. It is a great family day out at the harness racing.”
