Five invaluable local groups and services were awarded at this year’s Victor Harbor Christmas Pageant.
For category one, Nativity, St Augustine's Church for the combined Churches took out top prize, while the Encounter Centre’s Santa’s Sleigh was the winner for category two, Christmas theme.
SA Pipes and Drums took out the third category for musical, the Metropolitan Fire Service was named the winner of category four, essential services, and the Rotary Club of Victor Harbor was the final winner in the fifth category for innovation.
All the winners will be granted four tickets each to the Victa Cinema, and all will received their letters delivered to the addresses provided on the group’s entry form.
Whilst the Encounter Bay Rotary Club and Victor Harbor Rotary Clubs are proud to coordinate the pageant, they are supported by a number of volunteers.
The pageant’s five sponsors are also invaluable to the event, including the City of Victor Harbor, APM employment services, Country Gates, Harcourts South Coast, and Bailey Homes.
Next year's pageant in Victor Harbor will be held on Saturday, December 8.
