The Adelaide Crows Fleurieu Supporter Group celebrated a wonderful evening at the VictorHarbor Golf Club on Wednesday, December 6.

With 63 members present, the group united for its joint annual general meeting (AGM) and Christmas function.

Eddie Hocking from the Adelaide Crows attended the event as the guest speaker for the evening.

Mr Hocking was also joined by speakers Wendy James from Kalaidescopic Travel, Kevin McCall from the Adelaide Crows Supporter Group and Ashley Porter from Coastlines, who was the MC for the evening.

During the year, the group raised funds for the Andrew McLeod’s Indigenous Program and were thrilled to be able to present a cheque for $2000 to Eddie Hocking on the night.

Mr Hocking supports Macca with his work and also has a coaching role with the Adelaide Football Club.

Many thanks were made to the generous people of Victor Harbor and beyond who purchased raffle tickets supporting the work.

The signed 2017 Guernsey was won by Margaret Zilm of Encounter Bay, who’s husband Kevin played football for Sturt Football Club.

The group enjoyed many happy times together throughout 2017 and members are looking forward to a great season for the Crows in 2018.
