Aberfoyle Park man found deceased on Seaford train line between Hove and Brighton stations

An Aberfoyle Park man was found deceased on the Seaford train line tracks between Hove and Brighton stations this morning, Wednesday, January 24.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene at 9.30am after receiving reports of a man’s body on the tracks.

When police arrived, they located a 28-year-old man who had sadly died.

Just after 10am, Seaford train line users were advised of disruptions following an incident.

At the time, police could not provide more information about the incident but reported there was no risk to public safety and asked for patience while the incident was managed.

Adelaide Metro provided the following updates on the DPTI Facebook page regarding the impact on services.

Just after 1:30pm, Adelaide Metro advised trains were returning to normal service on the Seaford line.

A report will be prepared for the coroner, with the circumstances around the man’s death not deemed suspicious.
