McCracken ladies raised over $730 from their recent Pink Ball Charity Day, which was supported by Southcoast Realty, McCracken Resort and Country Club and Munns Lawns and with members donating prizes for the raffle. Funds will provide support for local breast cancer patients.

A field of 47 ladies played an individual stableford event as well as a team event where the object was to keep their pink ball in play throughout the game.

Eight of the twelve teams managed to achieve this, many seen retrieving balls from the water hazards on the course. Visitors from Willunga, Victor Harbor and South Lakes also attended.

Winners of the team event from McCracken were Barb Little, Marg Young, Joelle Lucas and Sue Lewis. Div 1 winners were Janet Tucker 41 points, Julie Short 37. Div 2 winners were Lesley Croft 35 and Di Hewes 32.

This is the third year a Pink Ball Charity Day has been held. Southcoast Realty has already committed to supporting this event again in 2019.
