Five Fleurieu residents caught allegedly drug driving

Five local residents have been caught allegedly drug driving over the past week.

On Friday, March 2, a 23-year-old Strathalbyn man allegedly returned a positive reading for Methylamphetamine and THC (cannabis) when stopped on Parker Avenue.

Another four drivers were nabbed on Sunday, March 4, including a 33-year-old Strathalbyn man who allegedly returned a positive reading for Meth after turning his vehicle in front of an oncoming police patrol on Thomas Street.

Police stopped a 28-year-old Victor Harbor man at Hayborough who allegedly returned a positive reading for Meth.

A 34-year-old man from Goolwa and a 29-year-old woman from McLaren Vale also allegedly returned positive readings for Meth.
