A local Aldinga man may have become the luckiest man on the entire Fleurieu Peninsula after taking out the $50,000 Spot 8 draw last Friday, March 2.
The lucky numbers used by the man, who chose to remain anonymous, were entered at the Aldinga Beach Newsagency, where over the same day a $200 and $1,500 winning entry also occurred.
When he realised he had won, the local man had to celebrate straight away, quickly calling his partner and asking her to knock off work early to join him down at the pub for a drink.
Undoubtedly, the man was quite impressed with his win but is opting to spend the money responsibly.
“Upgrade the cars, maybe get the gutters done and put the rest on the mortgage – won’t be anything too flash,” he said.
Last financial year, there were 27 Keno Spot eight, nine and 10 winners across South Australia who won more than $5.98 million.
Spot 10 was won twice within the same time frame, remarkably both on the same day on May 1, 2017.
