Victor Harbor cyclist dies after collision with kangaroo

A 62-year-old cyclist who collided with a kangaroo in early November has today died as a result of his injuries.

The man, from Victor Harbor, collided with a kangaroo on Waggon Road about 9.45am on Sunday, November 1.

He suffered serious injuries and was flown to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.

SA Police previously reported that the man was 53-years-old.

The man’s death brings South Australia’s road toll to 93 compared with 87 at the same time last year.
