READY TO STRIKE: Southern Breaker under 13 player Caleb Poulson.

Port Elliot Oval was buzzing with Breakers activity on Saturday in junior soccer. The Under 14s played Blackwood Forrest. Benny Roberts again scored another hat-trick. Coach Wayne Boundey was pleased with all the players, but singled out Ella Simon for her tenacity and Zak Garland for his skill. The Under 13s continued their successful season with a 4-1 win over Emmaus.

Under 10 Orange took to the pitch against Porties White Pointers. Breakers scored first. The steel ring of the Breaker defence of Mitchell Skryprek, Lucy Boundey, Riley North and goalie Max Wright were resolute. Eddy Yeoward scored one for the Breakers, before Porties finally broke through for their first. Eddie quickly added another to be up 3-1. Demi Tretheway roared onto the pitch in the second half and scored a fantastic left foot goal. Eddie Yeoward scored two more and Max McArthur helped make the score 7-1 at the final whistle. Jai worked hard in the midfield all game. Good luck to players competing in the City Championships.
