TOOPERANG – Police from the Major Crash Investigation Section were still investigating a fatal crash on Sunday morning that claimed the lives of two people at Tooperang, near Mount Compass.

Just after 4am on Saturday morning, police and emergency services were called to Cleland Gully Road after a Honda Prelude collided with a tree and caught on fire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but were unable to save the two occupants believed to be a man and woman both in their 20's from the northern suburbs, who died at the scene.
Cleland Gully Road was closed for several hours while police investigated, but the road has since been reopened.
The state's road toll now stands at 56 compared to 48 at the same time last year.

TOOPERANG – Two people have died in a single-car crash at Tooperang early on Saturday morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Cleland Gully Road at Tooperang just after 4am, where a car had hit a tree and caught alight.
Sadly, the two occupants could not be saved.
Major Crash Investigation branch is still investigating the crash, but the road is open to traffic.

TOOPERANG – Cleland Gully Road has been reopened, following a serious crash early on Saturday morning, August 12.
A car collided with a tree just before 4.15am.
There are no details currently available regarding the condition of the driver and any passengers which may have been in the car.

TOOPERANG – Cleland Gully Road is closed around Bull Creek Road, Quarry Road, and Nangkita Road to all traffic due to a serious crash.
