GOOLWA – ‘In the Eyes of the Beholder’ is the title of an exhibition opening on Sunday, October 22 at the Artworx Gallery at Goolwa.

The 'Sight For All Foundation' was established  by Ophthalmologist Dr Meucke in order to take his vision of curing blindness to the world. During his work on patients overseas, he's been attacked by rebels and performed eye surgery whilst heavy gun battles raged around him. His mission  and work has taken him to some of the world's poorest regions of Jerusalem, Laos, Cambodia, Nepal, Africa and Vietnam.

Dr Meucke now works with equally passionate colleagues at the SA Institute of Ophthalmology to create an organisation combining their skills in order to help people suffering from sight impairing ailments overseas.

Artworx owners Liz and John Francis are delighted to be able to present this exhibition which includes some very talented and well known artists. “We're pleased to be able to support  Dr Meucke and his team's work with part proceeds going to this very worthy cause” Liz Francis said.
