The spirit of Christmas is burning brightly in Goolwa, as showed by the huge crowd which attended the annual Christmas Festival on Sunday evening, December 10.
About 50 floats made up the Christmas pageant, which weaved from Goolwa Oval through the back streets to Cadell Street.
Local radio station Alex FM broadcast the pageant live.
Once the pageant was complete, crowds migrated to the oval, where the annual festival entertained people of all ages.
Children told Santa Claus what they wanted the most for Christmas, while students, ensembles and bands performed on stage.
Food vans and community groups were set up offering a selection of meals, snacks and drinks, while a bouncy castle was used well by the kids.
The night was completed with an impressive fireworks display.
Unfortunately The Times was unable to attend the pageant itself. Anyone with photos of their float or the pageant can submit them by emailing email@example.com or sending them via Messenger on The Times’ Facebook page.
