Twelve Great Southern Football League players have completed the December Camp 2 of the Panthers Football Academy.
The program aims to better educate and prepare talented Under 15 players for an effective transition into SANFL Football at Under 16 level.
Camp 2 followed on from an initial four day Camp in early October. In between players were given ownership of their own development via a combination of Strength, Conditioning and Skill Programs.
In December, the Academy were hosted by the Port Adelaide Football Club at Alberton Oval where the players were able to get up close and personal to the Power players training.
The South Adelaide boys marvelled at the intensity and speed of the session and then were addressed by players Emmanuel Irra and Matty Broadbent.
Day 2 saw the squad return to Flinders University to again go through Fitness Testing to see if they had improved on results from Camp 1. They received educational sessions on key topics.
