Great Southern take on Hills in tennis

It will be a battle for great bragging rights on Sunday, February 11, when Great Southern will take on the Hills Tennis Association.

Great Southern will do battle with the Hills Association this Sunday at John Wesley Tennis Club in Strathalbyn and it will be tennis at its best. 

These two associations competed last season at Littlehampton with Hills a strong winner so Great Southern will be keen to make amends. Great Southern have a well balanced and form side and optimistic on reversing last year’s embarrassing result. 

The Great Southern team consists of: P. Roberts, G. Hall, T. Roach, J. Measday, M. Baker, J. Roberts, B. Geue, S. Nottle, G. Roberts, B. Leibhardt, T. Abbott, S. Roberts, E. MacDonald Hall, C. Baker, E. Pethick, K. Lange, K. Geue, T. Musolino and J. Lowrey.

Action commences at 10am at the John Wesley Tennis Club, which is at the Strathalbyn netball courts and will go throughout the day including the doubles, mixed doubles and singles format
