Resident Aldinga Dog Park users are still pushing for more bins to be installed in the park.

In an attempt to combat rubbish, most notably dog poo being left around the park, local resident and dog owner Marina Harte has run both a physical and online petition to have previous bins brought back to the park.

The park gets regular use from a number of residents, who weren’t happy about being referred to as a lazy in an article that ran in another newspaper last year.

Users of the park believe that all they need is an extra bin or two, so people don’t have to search for the single supplied bin outside the entrance of the park.

Marina said the park was a really positive place where owners and their furry friends could meet and enjoy themselves and each others company.
