A Christie Downs boy is one of two youths charged with attempted murder after they allegedly stabbed a man in an altercation on Wednesday, February 28.
Police were called to a block of units at Dover Gardens just before 4pm and found a 45-year-old man with a stab wound to his torso after the trio had an altercation in the street.
Paramedics treated the man before he was taken to Flinders Medical Centre, but his injury was not considered life-threatening.
Investigators charged a 17-year-old Christie Downs boy and a 16-year-old Dover Gardens girl with attempted murder and aggravated recklessly causing serious harm.
They were refused bail and will be remanded in detention until they face the Adelaide Youth Court on March 14.
Police believe the incident was not random as all parties are known to each other.
