With a bit of help from its owner, a dog can become anything it wants at the Dogs Day Out on the Fleurieu; this year, Kira will be an SES volunteer.

A ‘doggy dress up parade’ is part of the fun of the annual event on next Sunday, April 22, which has a main focus on dogs and art.

There is still time to consider an outfit for the parade, while entries for the art exhibition close on April 13.

There are six categories for the two age groups of under 13 years and opens: art by dog, 3D art, comic, painting/drawing, photo dogs/s playing, and photo working dog/s. There is a total of $1300 in prize money.

Dogs Day Out on the Fleurieu will be open from 10am to 3pm at Lakala Reserve. For more info, visit www.facebook.com/FriendsOfThePortElliotDogPark/
