Adelaide Crows community program visits Rapid Bay Primary School to help children improve football skills

Students at Rapid Bay Primary School spent time outdoors working on their football skills when a team from the Adelaide Crows’ community program came to visit on Thursday, June 21.

A clinic, which was enjoyed out in the rare winter sun, helped children work on kicking, tackling and marking.

School principal Mark Shadiac said it was great to see the students having a fantastic day.

“I always enjoy seeing the kids having fun while they’re learning,” he said.

“What they did was what I would call ‘authentic learning’ – learning real-life things.

“I liked seeing the natural response when they were doing the activities.
