Children from Rapid Bay Primary School and Smithfield Plains Kindy joined together to celebrate International Mud Day at a property at Delamere on Friday, June 29.
They had fun tobogganing down muddy slopes, testing boats they built with recyclables, and toasting marshmallows on a fire.
Some of the teachers even joined the muddy fun!
International Mud Day is held annually for children and early childhood professionals all over the world to celebrate nature, outdoors, and mess by getting really muddy.
It also aims to connect children across the globe through the earth and all the wonders of mud and nature.
One of its messages is “Covered in mud, we all look the same”.
