Round 14 on Tuesday night saw McDonald's-Victor Harbor's; Jan de Villiers, Sam Traforti, Belinda Cardall, AJ Bedell, Sarah Hill, Mark Dickinson, John Harvie and Zachary Daniell score 336 points to defeat Victor Podiatry Centre's; Valentin Gross, Dale Sheridan, Jannette Novice, Mezzin Sheridan, Beth Fidock, Neil Smit, Allan Brown and Nina de Brequet with 312 points. A Doubles: Valentin/Dale d Jan/Sam 21-14 and Belinda/Jan d Jannette/Valentin 21-18. B Doubles: Mark/AJ d Neil/Mezzin 21-15, Beth/Dale d Sarah/Sam 21-18 and Zachary/Sarah d Nina/Beth 21-19. C Doubles: Beth/Neil d Sarah/Mark 21-18 and Nina/Neil won a marathon match 25-23 against Zachary/Mark. In the singles: Valentin d Jan 21-8, Dale d Sam 21-10, Belinda d Jannette 21-13 and AJ d Mezzin 21-13.

On Thursday evening Stanvac Korean Autoparts; Yulius Tejoseputro, Daniel Halse, Laya Ramos, James Schroder, Tala Ramos, Simon Hayes, Dale Wilson and Brynn Hayes scored 341 points to defeat Fleurieu Milk Company's; Lochlan Hodge, Leigh Brown, Rong Jackson, Josh Harvie, Lyn Hodge, Ray Jackson, Darren Hodge and Luke Hodge with 294 points. A Doubles: Laya/Yulius d Rong/Lochlan 21-19 and Lyn/Rong d Tala/Laya 22-20. B Doubles: Simon/Daniel d Ray/Leigh 21-19 and Luke/Josh d Brynn/James 21-16. C Doubles: Tala/Simon d Lyn/Ray 21-19 and Brynn/Dale d Luke/Darren 21-18. In the singles: Leigh d Daniel 21-15, Josh d James 21-13 and Rong triumphed 26-24 in an epic contest against Laya. 

The nights other match was a nail biter with Hamper Warehouse's; Simon Brayford, Harris Tan, Narelle Stewart, Bryan Anderson, Rainy Jiang, Joe van Dalen, Rodney Beswick and Estelle Brayford scoring 339 points to defeat OJ Computer's: Matt East, Shayne Drummond, Amanda Stevens, Wesley Yap, Meiling Wang, Allan Tonkin, Steve Wynniatt and Caitlin Stone with 333 points. A Doubles: Narelle/Simon d Amanda/Matt 22-20, Matt/Steve d Simon/Rodney 21-19 and Meiling/Amanda d Rainy/Narelle 21-16. B Doubles: Harris/Joe d Shayne/Allan 21-19 and Rainy/Harris d Meiling/Shayne 21-19. C Doubles: Caitlin/Allan d Estelle/Joe 21-18 and Wesley/Steve d Bryan/Rodney 23-21. In the singles: Wesley d Bryan 21-19, Narelle d Amanda 21-13, Harris d Shayne 21-14 and Matt d Simon 21-12.

The GSBA is open for social badminton every Tuesday night from 6pm to 9pm at Investigator College Victor Harbor Campus Performing Arts and Sports Centre. New members are welcome to come and try badminton in a relaxed, friendly, child safe environment. All equipment provided.
