Guitars in Bars hits Beach House
The annual ‘Guitars in The City’ event, as part of the Guitars in Bars Festival, will make its way to the shores of Encounter Bay this Sunday, July 22.
Rumours, the Fleetwood Man tribute show, will be performed at the Beach House Cafe from 12noon in a special daytime performance.
Since forming in 2014, Rumours has played to sold out crowds consistently and feature some of SA’s leading season musicians; fronted by Nanette Van Ruiten and Ian ‘Polly’ Politis in a 7-piece classic rock setting.
This show was initially booked with Phil Emmanuel but due to his sad passing, Rumours has stepped in to fill the spot and also will present a special tribute to Phil on the day.
Steve Brown at Supper Club
Consistent sell-out favourite The Steve Brown Band is back at the Mount Compass Supper Club this Saturday, July 21.
With a gravely, powerful and soulful voice, Steve Brown leads a band of superlative Australian musicians down the blues and rock highway.
The Steve Brown Band can beat out blues and rock one moment then slide freely into jazz the next.

Showcasing an award-winning line-up of David Rhodes (guitar), Denis Surmon (bass), Jeff Algra (drums) and Peter Martin (keyboard) and Steve Brown (vocals and guitar), the band never fails to win hearts and feet when playing at the Mount Compass War Memorial Community Centre.
