This Friday, August 10 will mark the final day citizens of of the City of Onkaparinga can enrol to vote in the upcoming council election.
The voting which will take place in early November and close on 5pm Friday, November 9 is the public's opportunity to vote for those who they believe will best help the council make the right decisions.
Councillor Hazel Wainwright said “Voting is the community’s responsibility and prospective Councillors should recognize they ultimately work for their community.”
Anyone who is already on the state electoral roll should or has completed an enrolment to join the supplementary roll will receive a voting pack in late October.
Once obtained, votes can be made via post or by placing it in the ballot box at your local council office by close of voting.
