Fleurieu Male Choir

Ph: 8552 1176.

In recent months the choir has enjoyed a busy period, providing entertainment to Aged Care residents and others, and culminating in our participation in the Country Choir Festival in McLaren Vale.

Being part of the Fleurieu Male Choir is a great opportunity to sing with other male choirs and also with mixed choirs.

In preparing for the festival our members also joined with the South Coast Choral group for practices of the combined choir pieces.

The choir is now working on new music in preparation for various commitments later this year.

It is a good time for any newcomers who are interested to sing with the choir to just drop in to one of our practices.

The choir sings a variety of favourite songs coming from as far back as the 20s and as recent as musicals that are still on stages in theatres around the country.

Practices are held 1.30pm to 3.30pm every Thursday at Yilki Uniting Church, in Giles Street at Encounter Bay.

There is always room for another voice in the line-up and our conductor David Smith will be happy to introduce you and guide you through the music.
