Police catch driver whose licence had been cancelled quiet some time ago

A 52-year-old man was arrested in Milang just before 10.40 pm on Monday after he was pulled over by police and submitted to a drug test.

The driver allegedly tested positive to methamphetamine and was issued a driver direction notice not to drive for 24 hours.

At around 11.40 later that evening police spotted the same car travelling through Milang. Police arrested the driver and checks revealed his licence had been cancelled in 1988.
