An antiques and collectables exhibition will be on view at Carrickalinga House, Victor Harbor, on Wednesday afternoon, September 26.

This is the first time the Fleurieu Antiques and Collectables Group has held an exhibition by members, and there is great excitement about the project.

There will be 14 exhibits, ranging from Wedgewood china to teddy bears and handsaws.

Members of the group will wear period costume to add to the festive mood.

In addition to the exhibits there will be quizzes on antiques and collectables for those who wish to test their knowledge and prizes will be given to successful contestants.

There is no entry fee and the exhibition will be followed by afternoon tea, which is free of charge.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Flourishing on the Fleurieu Festival, which is showcasing activities for newcomers to the area.
