The Probus Club of Victor Harbor and Granite Island will celebrate Flourishing on the Fleurieu with a Come and Try Probus session on Wednesday, September 26 from 9.45am at Carrickalinga House, Victor Harbor.
Probus Clubs around the world exist to have friendship, fellowship and fun for retirees.
The Granite Island club meet each month with a guest speaker on a local subject or topic of interest.

The Come and Try Probus meeting on September 26 will feature two interesting speakers: the first Stewart Leggett will talk on Never, Never Give Up; and the second Sandy Canale will present on his role as Ombudsman for Energy and Water SA. A morning tea with break up the speakers.
The Granite Island Probus Club hosts monthly outings, previously visiting SHAMRI, Government House, Convention Centre and Parliament House.
In the near future members will visit the Lazy Ballerina, Jong’s Nursery, and Tickle Tank, wrapping up the year with a Christmas lunch at the South Lakes Golf Club.
In between monthly meetings the other activities of fellowship include men’s coffee, latte girls, walking and hiking groups, plus a weekly cycling group.
Plans are underway for the club’s annual caravan and cabin odyssey, staying at the state-of-the-art Berri Riverside Holiday Park.
Granite Island Probus is a mixed gender club, so all people in district would be most welcome to join.
