A poetry playshop will make for an entertaining afternoon at Normanville Hotel this Saturday, October 13.
Poetry can be fun, pick at the heart strings and give an intense experience of language – and an enjoyable one too when joined by Jude Aquilina from Milang and Louise Nicholas from Adelaide, and Irish knockout writer Jen Liston.
From 2pm to 4.30pm, the well known poets and performers will entertain and teach, having attendees writing at their best, or joining in the discussions with laughter and creativity.
Dylan Thomas said: “Poetry is what in a poem makes you laugh, cry, prickle, be silent, makes your toe nails twinkle, makes you want to do this or that or nothing, makes you know that you are alone in the unknown world, that your bliss and suffering is forever shared and forever all your own”.
According to organisers, this will be a great workshop, as when the three poets get together words and ideas fly.
“All significant poets but loads of fun and terrific sharers; and the dinner following will be a treat too,” they said.
