Cape Jervis man dies in single-car crash

A Cape Jervis man has died in a single-car crash on the Fleurieu Coast on Monday night.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene on Main South Road, about eight kilometres south of Normanville and seven kilometres north of the Wirrina turn off, just after 8.30pm on September 8.

A Hyundai sedan had reportedly veered off the road and into a paddock. 

The only person in the car, the 49-year old driver from Cape Jervis, sadly passed away at the scene of the crash.

A medical cause has been ruled out.

This man's death is the 57th on South Australian roads in 2018, compared to 75 at the same time last year.
